I’ve been hooked on marketing and advertising since I was a kid—the kind who didn’t just watch TV commercials but mentally rewrote them. I geeked-out over great campaigns, dissected taglines like they were poetry, and admired the kind of creativity that made me stop mid-bite of Cap’n Crunch.

I went to college to arm myself with an Advertising major and a Marketing minor (because someone told me it would make me “more marketable”), dreaming of becoming a copywriter or art director. But, as John Lennon said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re making other plans.”

When graduation rolled around, agencies weren’t exactly lining up to hire untested creatives. What they were hiring were junior Account Executives. So I took a leap. Not into the creative department, but into the world of client service, figuring I could always switch later. Spoiler: that’s not how it works.

What I found was my sweet spot. I became the account guy who championed bold ideas, dug into consumer insights, and loved working shoulder-to-shoulder with creatives as they dreamed big. I discovered I could manage the business, nurture client relationships, and still play a role in shaping work that inspired people.

I often compare my role to being a conductor of an orchestra. I may not play the instruments, but I know exactly who should be holding each one. Every day is a performance for a different audience, and I get to lead the artists in creating something that moves the crowd to feel something and act.

Over the years, I’ve led teams at top agencies and partnered with some of the world’s most beloved brands. My job is part strategist, part relationship builder, part creative ally. I am always 100% committed to making sure the work makes a splash, stays relevant, and drives real results.

My career has let me spend time all across the country—in places like Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Denver. Most recently, I worked in a fully-remote environment for 5 years at an agency in NYC with employees distributed all over the globe. Each place I’ve lived and worked has provided me with context and cultural experiences that became part of who I am today.

I get to call sunny Laguna Beach home, where I live with my wife, our son Cade, and our spirited Irish Terrier named “Whiskey.”

When I’m not thinking of ways to make brands shine, you’ll find me soaking up the salty air at the beach, ripping through moguls on the ski slopes, checking out mechanical artistry at car shows, or chasing that always elusive better score on the golf course. My favorite job title—by far—is “Dad,” and I thrive on the adventures, laughter, and surprises that come with it.
